Brandon's Recital

We missed the recital that Brandon's piano teacher sets up for her students earlier this year. It was the same weekend as Robert's work retreat down in St George. (The one where we got to go rock climbing etc - so not one we wanted to miss - not that Robert could anyway). Since his teacher is Robert's cousin we were able to have a special 'invitation only', solo recital for him today. We had some local family members come and observe as Brandon played his recital pieces. Because it was just him he got to play a couple of extra numbers. He played 'The Squeaky, Squawky Carousel', ‘Merrily we Roll Along’, ‘Hand-Bells’, ‘Old McDonald Had a Farm’, ‘Batter Up’, ‘A Happy Song’, ‘Cowboys’, and ‘Robot’. He was so intent on playing well and after a bit of initial nerves, he settled down and was very professional! Of course the best part is when he bowed at the beginning and end. It was sooo cute. I can't believe that my Brandon is getting so grownup. His recital went really well. Good Job, Brandon!
