Cooking Gourmet

While the kids were recovering from their surgeries, Sean and I had some time to watch the Food Network. We watched a couple of cooking shows and decided to make the food one of them showed. So a few weeks later we got all the stuff and everyone got to help and we had a very delicious meal. We all had so much fun working together! Our meal started off with Onion Soup with Mozzarella and Thyme, then we moved on to Salmon in Lemon Brodetto with Pea Puree, and for dessert we had Italian Chocolate Sandwich Cookies.
It was a very good meal. The kids tried everything! You know when the talk show people say that if your kids help make it they will eat? Well, they're right! It really does work that way. In the end we decided that the cookies weren't that great and none of us like the soggy bread in the onion soup. But we all really liked the Lemon Brodetto and the Salmon. Yummy!
