This year Brandon got to play baseball for the first time! He was quite excited about it! And Robert was one of the assistant coaches. Brandon played machine pitch baseball and he did great! Robert is very excited with how well his boys can hit the ball. It was an all round great time for Brandon. He was like a little pro out there. First you're 'on deck' where you swing the bat a couple of times to warm up.
Then you're up to bat. Brandon had some really good hits!
Then a real player is always ready to run from 1st to 2nd base. Brandon is poised and ready to go!
And of course, when you're on 3rd you have to be ready to run home. Unfortunately, at this game Brandon's team kept getting their 3rd out while he was on base. So no sliding into home pictures for me. Moral of the story, don't wait until the last game to take pictures. And show up earlier to the game so your son is higher in the batting order.
Brandon got to play outfield quite a bit. He has a pretty good throwing arm and was able to throw the ball in and help get some opponents out.
At the end of the season, it all came down to the trophy. Brandon's coach passed them out at the end of the last game. Great Season, Brandon! I can't wait to see you play next year!
