Alauna

I had the camera out and noticed that Alauna sure is looking cute. Naturally, I had to take some pictures.
She's really good at the cruising thing. She'll walk all the way around a room on the furniture. The boys have taught her how to stand on her own really well. So she can stand on her own but she doesn't see the point of actually walking on her own. Technically, she doesn't even walk very well when someone is holding her hands. You would think it wouldn't be that hard since she can walk along the furniture, but for some reason she doesn't think it is the same thing.

Alauna has really started to develop personality wise. She can communicate just a tiny little bit. The cutest thing is when she is told 'No'. She looks at me with her huge eyes that start to brim over with tears and her lower lips starts to quiver and she looks so shocked and sad that Mommy is not letting her do whatever.

And she tries to wave when waved at, though it is more of a flapping of her arms in a more intent fashion.

I really love her kisses! She kisses with an open mouth and her tongue sticking out. So beware! Only take kisses on you cheeks! She can also kiss her hand to you. It is so fun to watch her reactions and see her turn into an adorable little toddler.

It is amazing what babies can convey without being able to talk. It is quite clear in this picture that Alauna wants me to pick her up and hold her.
