Cousin playtime

My sister came to visit over the weekend and brought her little girl, Carys, with her. Carys is about 6 months younger than Natalia and they love to play together. Of course there is a bit of rivalry for the 'good' toys, but over all they play really well. Here's some pictures ofthe girls after church on Sunday. First we tried to get all three of them to pose together, but it quickly degenerated into craziness. Alauna didn't like Natalia & Carys holding her up very much and she would rather be eating the dirt in her new Sunday dress 'til she got caught and mommy took a picture of it.

Once we gave up on the posed shot of everyone smiling, we tried for just Natalia & Carys. While that worked better; they were much more interested in playing. Good thing they looked cute swishing their skirts around and holding hands. And then they became partners in crime. They took off away from the camera and started to explore. They sure were very intent when they were looking at the leaves on the tree. I wonder what was so fascinating?
